Nenagh Gardai investigate theft of dinghy from Dromineer harbour

The Gardai in Nenagh are appealing for the public's help following the theft of a dinghy in Dromineer harbour outside Nenagh.

The dinghy was stolen from a boat moored in the harbour between September 1 and September 3.

The dinghy, which was tied to a larger boat, is estimated to be valued at €1,000.

Meanwhile, the Gardai in Nenagh are investigating a break-in at an industrial premises at Lisbunny Industrial Estate on September 7. No items were taken but damage was caused to a kitchen area.

Gardai are warning people to lock property in sheds or garages after a quantity of tools were taken from the side of a house at Old Road, Silvermines, on September 7.

A female driver was arrested at Knockanpierse, Nenagh, on September 7 for alleged drink driving.

The motorist was detected after she turned away from a Garda checkpoint at around 1.20am and was pursued.

A quantity of stolen items were discovered in a vehicle at Modreeny, Cloughjordan, after the driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving at 9.20pm on September 7. The items had been stolen from local shops.
