Rockwell students enjoying their Junior Cert results day. L/R: Conor Hogan, Ian Harrington, Tom Downey, Ben Farrelly.
On Wednesday morning last week there was great excitement among the student cohort as they waited in anticipation and some trepidation for their results.
When issuing the results the Principal, Audrey O’Byrne, stated that all those students who had worked hard got their just rewards and she also reminded them to remain grounded and to use these as a building block for the Leaving Certificate. She was particularly pleased with the exceptionally high number of A grades in Business, Maths, Geography, History, Science and the languages. Several students achieved A’s across a range of subjects with one in particular, Shane Nevillle, achieving 10 A’s, whilst a number of others received 9, 8,and 7 A's.
