South Tipperary Art Group

Adult artists are more than welcome to join the South Tipperary Art Group (STAG)

South Tipperary Art Group (STAG) Junior Art Group membership is now full.

There’s an Out and About drawing session on this Saturday in Old St. Mary’s Church, Mary Street, Clonmel, by kind permission of Rev. Barbara Fryday.

Both the Primary section and the Seniors will have a trip to The Art Hand Studio in Bunmahon on Saturday October 6, where they will complete four courses in one day – Sand Art, Chalk Art, Coastal drawing and a collaborative mosaic with artists Sean and Miranda Corcoran.

There was a great attendance for Paul McNally’s talk on the Passiv Haus design for Quirke’s Pharmacy in O’Connell Street, Clonmel on Culture Night in the County Museum.

Paul is a former Junior STAG Art member and is now an Ecological Architect in Cork, with award-winning designs to his credit.

His design and model can be seen at STAG’s 50th Anniversary exhibition in the County Museum, along with lots of artwork not only by present adult members but also by former members who are now professionals in the arts and craft industry at home and abroad.
