CHRISTMAS LIGHTS RAFFLE WINNER
Congratulations to Ann Devereaux who was the winner of the raffle that took place in Super Valu last weekend that was in aid of the Christmas Lights Campaign.

COMMUNITY LOTTO
Last week’s Cahir Community Lotto results are as follows - There was no winner of the draw held on Wednesday December 14, 2022.
The draw was witnessed by Davin O’Connell and the numbers drawn were 2, 3, 8 and 20. The 4 lucky dip winners were P. J. Ryan, c/o Cahir Bingo, Larry Queeney, Cahir, James Devereaux, Grangemore, Cahir and Carmel & Kathleen, c/o Cahir Bingo.
The Jackpot is now at €1,200.

CAHIR PARK 50/50 DRAW

We had our 50/50 Draw live in Cahir house hotel last Friday and some extra tickets were drawn for the first of our Christmas Draws. It was done in front of the audience so we didn't go live as usual on the night. The winner of the 50/50 draw of €420.00 was Eddie Purtill. Congratulations Eddie!

On Day 6 December 10 winners were Laura Buckley gets a who won a €50 voucher for Co-Op Stores Cahir, Jim O’Donnell won a €50 voucher for The Cahir House Hotel and Tracey Hackett won a €50 voucher for Carry Out Off Licence.


On Day 7 December 11 winners were Rachel Lonergan won a €50 voucher for The Galtee Inn, The Square, Cahir, Ann O’Donnell won a €50 voucher for Angela’s Hair Care, Abbey Street, Cahir and David Allen won a €50 voucher for Image Beauty Salon, Old Church Street, Cahir.


On Day 8 December 12 winners were Mary Burke won a €50 voucher for The Heritage, Ann Shortiss won a €50 voucher for Flowers by Trish and Pauline O’Donnell won a €50 voucher for Coopers Off Licence.


On Day 9 December 13 Winners were Eileen Doyle, Clogheenafishogue, Cahir who on a €50 voucher for Galileo Café, Cahir, Michelle Allen who on a €50 voucher for Allure, Old Church Street, Cahir and Laura Buckley who on a €50 voucher for The Keep, Castle Street, Cahir.


On Day 10 December 14 Winners were Teresa Power who won €50.00 voucher for O’Brien’s Butchers, Castle Street, Cahir, Deirdre McEniry who won €50 voucher for Serenity Beauty Salon, Barrack Street, Cahir, Mark Dempsey who won €50 voucher for Woodview Service Station, Cork Road, Cahir.

Other winners were Kyle Delaney who won a hamper sponsored by Cahir Park, Martina Tobin who won a voucher, Margaret Smithers who won a post office voucher, Hannah Lynch won a hamper sponsored by Martin Hickey, Liam Galvin, Newcastle who won a hamper from Ladrigans’ sponsored by Keith Edwards, Dee Purtill won a bottle from Carry out off licence, Lily Byrne won a Tin of quality street sweets, Eddie Darcy won a Tin of Roses and Chrissie Wall won a tin of Heroes sweets. We will have one more Christmas draw with our 50/50 Draw this week on this Friday December 23 with lots more prizes to be won. Then we will take a break on Friday December 30 and will be back to our 50/50 Draw in the New Year on Friday January 6, 2023.

CAHIR GAA CLUB DRAW THE JOKER

The Draw the Joker was held in The Hill on Sunday night. The Jackpot was not won. Anne Queeney won €100.00, Gerard Doran & Trisha Flannery won €50 each, Ann Corbett won €30 and Roisin Casey won €20.

The jackpot is now €6,200 and the next draw is on this Thursday night December 22 in No. 22 The Abbey with the following Draw also being on Thursday night December 29 in Morrissey’s.
