CBS Thurles to hit the stage this week for their annual musical

CBS Thurles boasts a proud tradition of hosting an annual musical.

Each year staff and students alike spend months of time and labour preparing, perfecting and presenting their efforts.

Our musical is a truly wonderful school event with input emerging from the whole school in all areas of the show, including directing, music, producing, props, costume, art design, backstage and makeup, to name just a few.

Over the years, students from all year groups, including Transition Year students from the Presentation and Ursuline Convents take part in our productions. Our production team consciously promotes the inclusion of students from widely varying musical backgrounds and levels of experience on stage.

Preparations are underway for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, which will take place from Thursday to Saturday, January 26-28.

Ms Ryan Preston, Ms Lloyd, Ms Slattery and their diligent team of staff and students are working hard to make sure that the show will be one to remember!
