Clonmel Junction Arts Festival's Cliona Maher will formally open Arcadian, an exhibition of paintings by Lesley Cox at The Narrow Space Gallery in Clonmel on Friday 5 May at 6.00pm.
Lesley hails from Dublin but has been living in Clonakilty with her family for over 15 years. She paints in oils and is hugely inspired by the ever changing landscape around where she lives. Arcadian is an exhibition of two parts - one a series of wonderful farm building paintings and the other a selection of engaging landscape paintings. The farm building paintings are hugely evocative of both a time long gone and the present day in rural Ireland. Lesley first exhibited with The Narrow Space in last year's Winter Exhibition and we are delighted to be showcasing over 30 works in this solo show.
The gallery is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10.30am - 5.30pm. Arcadian will run until 17 June, admission is free and everyone is welcome!
