We have been approached again by family members who have loved ones buried in St Senan's Cemetery, Knockavilla regarding access to the graveyard. People are still parking in front of the gates, especially at mass times. Please keep the entrance clear at all times.
SHARE THE SPOILS
Congratulations to Maura Heffernan, Knockgorman, Donohill who was our Share the Spoils winner last week, winning €239. The winning envelope was purchased in Donaskeigh Hall at the weekly card drive.
KEEP SAFE AND WELL
Even though we are heading into the summer months, we remind would like to remind you that the personal security alarm systems are still available for eligible applicants. These security pendants offer people an extra sense of security in your own home. The system is free to install and comes with one year’s free monitoring. If you would like to find out more about this equipment, please contact Kieran 0877934071, or any member of Knockavilla community Council. Forms are also available in Dundrum Health Centre.

DUNDRUM AC NOTES
The popular Poulmucka 8k and 5k was held on Friday, May 19. It’s a challenging course with some hard uphills but has a nice downhill finish. In the 8k race we had 8 athletes competing. First home for the club was 5th Dymphna Ryan 27:59 and was 1st Woman. Next, we had 10th Gerry O’Neill 29:54 and was 1st O40 Man, he was closely followed by 11th Colm Bradshaw 29:59 and 12th Michael Ryan 30:02, 19th Paudie Coen 31:31, 31st Darren Gayson 33:06, 38th Tony Delaney 33:38 and 104th Declan Hogan 42:05. In the 5k race we only had one athlete compete and that was Phillip O’Dwyer making his debut for the club and what a debut it was to win the race 19:07.
The club welcomes new athletes we have training for all different levels of abilities.
FIT4LIFE
Fit4Life is on Monday and Thursday at 7pm, at the track at Dundrum Community Centre (former Scouts Hall). Fit4Life is suitable for walkers, joggers and runners.
SLOW / LONG RUNS
Group slow and or long runs are held every Saturday at 8:30am and Sunday at 9am in the Duck Pond, Marlbog.
JUVENILE TRAINING
Juvenile training with Dundrum Athletic Club is held every Tuesday and Friday at 7pm at the track. Children have to turn 9 years old by end of this year to be able to take part.
