Funding for Camphill in Carrick-on-Suir

Fine Gael TD Tom Hayes T.D. has announced the allocation of €35,725 to Camphill Community, Castle Street, Carrick-on-Suir, for the completion of roadside works. The South Tipperary TD made the announcement following discussions with the Minister for Health, Dr. James Reilly.

“I am delighted to announce this allocation of funding for such a fantastic organisation. Over €35,000 is to be made available for the completion of the project following talks between myself, the Minister and the Department. The money will come in the form of a Lotto grant made available by the Department of Health.

“Camphill Communities of Ireland provide a vital service to people with intellectual disabilities as well as other special needs. I want to take this opportunity to thank all the Camphill volunteers in Carrick for their fantastic work and service to the local community.” Mr Hayes said.
