Carrick on Suir Town Council is organising a public meeting next week to discuss its review of Carrick-on-Suir’s development plan.
The public meeting on the preparation of the new Carrick-on-Suir Development Plan takes place at the Carraig Hotel on Wednesday, March 7 at 6.30pm.
The Council is seeking the public’s views and observations on the contents of the new development plan and the deadline for receipt of any submissions is April 10.
Children or groups or associations representing the interests of children as well as adults are entitled to make submissions or observations.
A copy of the Two Years Progress Report on the existing Development Plan, the issues paper and background document regarding the preparation of the new Development Plan as well as the Screening Decisions are available for public inspection at Carrick-on-Suir Town Hall and at the Planning Section, South Tipperary County Council, County Hall, Emmet Street, Clonmel.

Public submissions or observations on the Development Plan should be marked ‘COSTDP Preparation’ and should be addressed to Town Clerk Michael O’Brien, Carrick-on-Suir Town Council, Town Hall, New Street, Carrick on Suir.
