Injury forces abandonment of west Tipperary football game early in second half

The West Tipperary Junior Football Championship game between Sologhead and Arravale Rovers had to be abandoned due to an injury to an Arravale Rovers player.

In the West Championship Sologhead Junior Footballers travelled to Sean Treacy Park on Friday evening for a must win game against Arravale Rovers and following a low scoring opening period in which Arravale held a 0-3 to 0-0 lead at the break, the game was subsequently abandoned early in the second half due to a leg injury sustained by an Arravale Rovers player.
We commend Sologhead physio Melissa O’Neill along with Michael Fitzgerald with their paramedic knowledge in assisting the injured player, Adam Dunne while awaiting an ambulance.

We wish Adam a speedy recovery.
