Golf courses across the country are busy this summer with competitions taking place and one that will whet the appetite of many is the STL Logistics, Newcastle West Golf Club Pro-Am 2023.
This competition is set to take place at Newcastle West Golf Club on Saturday 19th August where Tipperary hurler Alan Tynan amongst many other intercounty GAA stars as well as Munster rugby stars and other celebrities will take part.
The event, which is sponsored by Michael O’Riordan’s company STL Logistics, carried a prize fun of €15,000 last year, which made it one of the biggest one-day Pro-Am tournaments in Ireland.
Newcastle West Golf Club have twinning agreements with four other golf clubs which entitles members to play free casual golf at the following courses Youghal, Castlecomer, Oughterard and Thurles Golf Clubs.
No doubt amateurs from across Ireland are chomping at the bit to test their skills against those of some of the best professionals in the country in a format that will place three amateurs in a team of four that will include a top Pro.
