This Saturday Foley’s Bar will host a Breeders Cup Benefit Night in aid of The Injured Jockeys Fund and the Riley ROCKS fund.
The fundraiser kicks off at 8pm in aid of The Injured Jockeys Fund, set up to provide assistance to riders who suffer paralysis, and for Riley Fessenden, a 6 year old girl diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. MC is jump jockey legend Ken Whelan who will be joined by a host of jockeys including Champion Jump Jockey Davy Russell, former Munster and Ireland Rugby star Denis Leamy and many sporting personalities. Music by Eugene O’Grady and PJ Mooney. There will be auction races and spot prizes. Aiden and Joseph O’Brien donated a signed framed print of Camelot to be auctioned.
American style hot dogs will be served and there will be prizes for the best American themed fancy dress! Tickets from Foley’s Bar €10.
