Windy conditions made this year’s Lady Captain’s Day a true test of golf, challenging every part of our ladies golf. Lady Captain Eleanor Devaney was at the club house early on Saturday morning with her sister Judith, greeting all the ladies as they took to the fairways.
Beautiful flower arrangements decorated the clubhouse and the ladies were delighted to have their first opportunity to view the captain’s prizes, a wonderful array of jewellery and bags. Eleanor provided goodies for the ladies to sustain them during their round. Over 60 ladies competed. Thankfully the rain stayed away and the course was in excellent condition.
Fantastic Evening
