They did it again: Clonmel Commercials, seen here celebrate their victory over Loughmore Castleiney in the 2020 county senior football championship final, won again at the weekend
A number of games too place on Saturday in the Tipperary senior football championship. The reigning champions Commercials were pushed to the pin of their collar and had to come from behind to beat Kilsheelan Kilcash by a single point.
Killenaule beat Arravale with ease while Mid Tipperary sides Upperchurch and JK Brackens beat South sides Cahir and Moyle Rovers respectively. The full run down of results from Saturday are below.
Senior Football Championship:
Clonmel Commercials 3-7 Kilsheelan Kilcash 3-6
Killenaule 2-13 Arravale Rovers 0-6
Upperchurch-Drombane 1-11 Cahir 2-5
JK Brackens 3-8 Moyle Rovers 0-12
Intermediate Football Championship:
Moyne/Templetuohy 1-10 Golden-Kilfeacle 0-10
Galtee Rovers/St Pecaun 2-12 Loughmore-Castleiney 0-6
