James McKeon recited his poem about Dillon Quirke live on air
It was one year to the day last weekend since the tragic death of Tipperary hurler Dillon Quirke who collapsed during a club championship game against Kilruane McDonagh and passed away at just 24 years of age.
On Saturday evening last up and coming broadcaster and writer James McKeon chatted on air with his cousin Stephen Gleeson, and recited a beautiful tribute to Dillon Quirke live at half time on Tipp FM. Entitled 'In The Grey' you can watch James McKeon reciting the poem here:
"Tomorrow is never guaranteed.." Blown away by the sheer brillance of this poem about Dillon Quirke written by James McKeon...this was live on radio tonight at half time. Hurley hitting ball is the sound in the background. Listen to the words of 'In The Grey' Just class pic.twitter.com/vYnm7I8jDe
