Games cancelled due to tragedy in Clonmel have bee re-fixed by Tipperary GAA

The two remaining fixtures in the group stages of this year's hurling championships have been refixed after being postponed last weekend due to participating clubs having connections to the tragic car accident in Clonmel which claimed four lives last week.

Kilsheelan Kilcash and St Marys had connections to the deceased and as such, the decision was made for their final group games to be cancelled as a mark of respect.

St Marys final group game against Moyne Templetuohy in the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship has now been fixed for Tuesday, September 5th with the time and venue to be confirmed, while Kilsheelan Kilcash's clash with Moneygall in the Intermediate Championship down for Wednesday, September 6th with the time and venue also yet to be confirmed.
