Jimmy Coleman tops in prestigious Tipperary Cup Snooker Tournament

Danny Bailey (Treasurer), John Brogan (Referee and Club President), Eamon Ryan-Cooper (Sponsor), Jimmy Coleman (Winner), James Ryan Cooper (Runner-up) and Alec Lee (Scorekeeper and Club Chairman)

The prestigious Tipperary Cup Snooker Tournament was played recently and was kindly sponsored by The Porter House Pub.
There were a number of high profile players beaten in the early rounds, including John Brogan and Tim Carey. In the first semi-final, Jimmy Coleman just got the better of Alec Lee, and in the second semi-final Steven Ryan beat Pat Massey. In a competitive final, Jimmy just gained a narrow victory over Steven.
A thank you to our generous sponsors, Eamon and Steven Ryan (Cooper) and Alec Lee and John Brogan, who acted as scorekeeper and referee.
