There is excitement in the air as cast and chorus are putting the final touches to this years show, under the guidance of Producer Maria O'Shaughnessy who is also on stage this year playing The Fairy Godmother... with a twist!

Maria's daughter Saoirse Fitzgerald is playing the pretty Cinderella while her handsome prince is played by Brian Anglim. The ugly sisters, Beyonce and Lady Gaga, are the hilarious Margo Fogarty and Barbara Ryan and it's also Barbara's first year with the society.

The ugly sisters' mother The Baroness Delilah of Windmill is played by Sean Murphy who has years of experience on stage. Baroness Delilah is addicted to getting married and is now on her fourth husband, Baron Algernan of Monameigh played by the hunky John Hally.

Loveable, gorgeous and iresistable Dandini is played by the loveable, gorgeous and irresistible Mark Edwards while the kind Buttons is Jake Ryan. Cinderella's friend is Sally played by Amanda Smith and Major Bouncer is Sean Devane.

Our Bubbly and colourful Chorus are under the direction of Aisling O'Dwyer and this years musical director is Sarah Flynn.

Come along and enjoy lots of music, dance and laughter at Halla na Feile, Cashel, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday 2nd to 6th February at 8pm, or our matinee's Saturday and Sunday 2.30pm.

Wednesday night concession price €8. Thursday to Sunday price €12. Matinees price €5.

Tickets are available from Marion at Klassy Kidz 062 63310 for the Friday and Sunday shows or can be purchased for all shows at the door.

The society held is annual Colouring Competition over the last few weeks. The winning entry is being used on the programme front cover for the upcoming show 'Cinderella a Modern Tale'. The winner was Niamh Minogue, a sixth class pupil in St John the Baptist Girls Primary School. Keep an eye out for Niamh's fantastic creation on poster around the town.
