Edmund Rice Secondary School Leaving Certificate students of 2023 were warmly welcomed back to their alma mater a few weeks ago for lunch and refreshments with staff.

It was a relaxed, jovial event organised to congratulate them on their Leaving Cert results and wish them well as they embarked on further studies, apprenticeships and jobs.

An Achievement Award Cup was presented to Emmet Walsh who achieved 578 points in his Leaving Certificate exams and secured a place in UCC to study physics.

Principal Majella Gleeson congratulated the Leaving Cert graduates and wished them success in their jobs, studies and apprenticeships.

Vice Principal Linda Barry and Year Head Teacher Ms. Leona Mulcahy also praised the students and pointed out that they will all be dearly missed around the school.

They said the school community is extremely proud of all the boys and wishes them the very best of luck in all of their future endeavours.
