Church bells will ring out in Tipperary as a call for peace

Old St Mary's in Clonmel is one of the churches where the bells will be rung on Saturday morning

Bells will be rung from all churches in the Church of Ireland’s Clonmel Union Of Parishes as a call for peace in the world this Saturday, November 11 at 11am.

The bells will be rung at Old St Mary’s, Clonmel by George Hogg and Serena Kirkham; Holy Trinity, Fethard by Stuart and James Clooney; St Paul’s, Cahir by David Butler; and Marlfield by Bernard Prendergast.

The churches will open from 10.45am for anyone who wants to pray or hear the bells.
