Thousands of people are expected to turnout to watch the fairy light illuminated Christmas Tractors of Carrick-on-Suir Parade that passes through Carrick-on-Suir town and communities in its Kilkenny and Waterford hinterland this evening (Saturday, December 16).

Here is the Crop Cruisers' itinerary for the festive tractor run that is celebrating its 10th anniversary today.

The procession of more than 50 tractors will leave from a secret location in Piltown around 5.15pm. The convoy will enter Piltown via Stoneybridge turning right and heading directly to Fiddown. The tractors are expected to reach Fiddown around 5.20pm.

The parade's next destination will be Portlaw, which the convoy is expected to reach around 5.40pm. The tractors will drive into the Square and turn down via The Cotton Mill.

Clonea-Power will be the next community on the route. The parade is expected to reach the county Waterford village around 6.20pm. Then it's onto neighbouring Rathgormack where the tractors are expected to pass through at about 6.30pm. The dazzling tractors will turn right at Larkins in Rathgormack village for the final leg of their journey to Carrick-on-Suir.

The tractors parade will arrive in Carrick-on-Suir via Seskin Hill and is expected to reach Carrick-on-Suir around 7pm.

The Christmas tractors will cross Dillon Bridge and take the parade’s usual route through the town, down Main Street, through Sean Kelly Square and onto the N24.

The parade will travel up to the traffic lights at Carrick Garda Station and then turn right onto New Street finishing at the New Street Car Park opposite Carrick-on-Suir Town Hall where families can get a closer look at the gloriously lit up tractors when they are parked in the car park.

The times given here are estimates and may fluctuate depending on traffic along the route.
