Get fit for the new year with Ireland Lights Up
The GAA grounds at Drombane will be a hive of activity over the next 4 Wednesday evenings as the local club - Upperchurch Drombane - are this year taking part in Ireland Lights Up.
They have issued an open invite to those from near and far for an evenings walking with the aim of getting fit together over the coming weeks.
The get fit initiative is expected to be a social occasion under lights as well as a chance to shed some of those Christmas pounds that has become the norm for many in recent times.
The event is free for all to take part in and people of all levels of fitness are invited to come along. People can attend as a once off or as a regular weekly event. Registration is from 7:15pm at Drombane and the walk will start at 7:30pm.
