The 'Friends of Tipperary Football' promote the game in the county
The Friends of Tipperary Football hold their AGM tonight at 8pm (Wednesday 7th of February) at the Muintir na Tire hall in Littleton and they are hoping for many new (and old familiar) faces to show up.
The "Friends" have worked tirelessly over the years for the betterment of football in the county and work hand in hand with the Tipperary Football Board to ensure that football gets the best possible benefit to ensure teams are looked after and that the game is thriving.
This year is a new era with Tipperary teams hoping to build, the seniors are looking to gain promotion from Division 4 after a difficult season last year and so tonight is an opportunity for many to get aboard the bus as it sets off for a new destination.
Officials of the board have stressed that all are welcome to Littleton this evening and a good turnout would boost the 'Friends' ahead of the new campaign.
