Members of the Media recently went along to take the Pre Selection Fitness Test in Templemore.
The recent Garda recruitment drive to get greater numbers training in Templemore paid dividends with approximately 6,380 (6,381) people have applied to be a Garda under the recent recruitment competition. It is only ten months since the last Garda recruitment campaign, which attracted approximately 5,000 applications.
