Bill Mullaney’s junior side will look to continue their good vein of form. Having tasted a one point victory away to Clare Tipp will be hoping to make it two wins from two on the road this Saturday. Wexford had an impressive win away to Kilkenny in their second round game 3-09 to 1-08 but lost to Clare at home in their opening game by 4 points.
When the sides met this time last year Tipperary recorded a good win which kickstarted their season going on to win a Munster championship and reaching the All-Ireland Junior Final.
In their opening 2 games of the league Ciara Brennan has really impressed in midfield or the half forward line while Aoife O’Brien has been very solid in goals and Sinead Meagher has caused trouble for opposing defenders.
Enniscorthy is a difficult place to get a result but with great competition for places in the squad and off the back of a good win, Tipp can travel in confidence this Saturday.
