Following the huge success of last year’s inaugural series of Anam - Songs for Hearts & Minds, Other Voices and the Office of Public Works (OPW) are thrilled to announce its return in May, with the filming of the first show taking place in Tipperary this weekend.
Carrick-on-Suir’s Elizabethan manor house of Ormond Castle will play host to the first show this coming Saturday with the brand new four-part series bringing together a dynamic and diverse group of artists, delivering inspiring live sets in some of Ireland’s most prestigious National Monuments and Heritage Properties.
The Ormond Castle list includes Grammy Award-nominated Big Thief bandleader Adrianne Lenker (who isn't performing in front of an audience), Dublin talent Uly, and Donegal teen country star Muirreann Bradley.
Kicking off at 8 pm on Thursday, May 9th in Carrick-on-Suir, the series will be presented by MayKay and aims to celebrate established musicians and newly discovered acts.
The show will later be live streamed via the Other Voices YouTube and Facebook channel from 8 pm on Thursday, 16th May.
