Skydive in memory of a Tipperary hurling legend will raise much needed funds

Hurling legend Timmy Moloney RIP

A stalwart of Cashel King Cormacs for many years, Timmy Moloney was known far and wide for his kindness and his hurling know how.
He proudly represented his club, and donned the Blue and Gold of Tipperary, all the way up from juvenile to minor, and then at Senior Club and Inter County level. Timmy captained the Tipperary Under 21 Hurlers in 1992.
He spent some years in London and hurled for many years Cross-Channel, becoming a legendary figure in London GAA circles before returning to his native shore. Now his family, in order to rasie funds for South Tipperary Hospice, have organised a fundrasier called : Jump For Timmy
The Moloney family said: "As many of you know, our beloved Timmy Moloney brought light and love to everyone he met. His journey may have come to an end, but his legacy of kindness and compassion lives on.
"In honor of Timmy's memory, our family is embarking on a skydiving adventure to raise funds for the South Tipperary Hospice, an organization that provided unparalleled care and support to Timmy during his illness. Their unwavering dedication made an immeasurable difference during a challenging time for our family.
"We kindly ask for your support in this endeavor. Every donation, big or small, will go directly towards ensuring that other families facing similar circumstances receive the exceptional care and comfort they deserve.
"Timmy's spirit of generosity and resilience will continue to inspire us as we take to the skies. Please join us in honoring his memory by contributing to this worthy cause."
