There is excitement and trepidation across the school going going population and their families today as the Leaving Certificate results are revealed.
Schools across Tipperary welcomed students this morning who sat the exam during the summer and students can access details at their convenience online at examinations.ie.
Overall over 60,000 will receive results with the exam results artifically increased by an average of 7.5%, to match the grades of recent years, leading to increase of two-thirds of grades.
There has been criticism of the lateness of issuing results which can affect those looking to take up places in colleges abroad or places where there are accomodation issues.
There are a huge number of bonus points issued in Mathematics with College places when the CAO results issue on Wednesday next.
Oueries can be put to schools who have staff available to help those with outstanding questions relating to results, college places and related matters.
