Former JK Brackens manager Shane Keegan has joined the Wexford senior hurling management team for the 2026 season.
Keegan, who stepped down from his role in Templemore recently, oversaw a successful spell with Brackens over the past two years.
He guided the club to their second Mid Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship title during the summer this year, and brought them to the quarter-finals of the Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship in 2024.
A native of Laois, Keegan managed both the senior hurling and football teams at Brackens this past year and continues to work as head of coaching and games in his home county.
The experienced coach, a former Cobh Ramblers manager in the League of Ireland, now takes the next step in his career by linking up with the Wexford senior hurling setup for 2026.
