Dermot Bannon in Knockavilla NS
Engineering week was action-packed in Scoil Mhuire, Knockavilla, this year.
Every pupil was involved in workshops, games and experiments which emphasised the importance of engineering and science in our everyday lives.
There was huge excitement when Dermot Bannon, the celebrity architect, came to the school to visit and talk to the pupils about engineering and architecture – there is no word on whether Dermot convinced the school to adopt a new, open-plan design!
Dermot is pictured above with the boys and girls from Ms Ryan's and Ms Healy's classes.
