Clonmel Rotary Club’s annual fundraiser, its Christmas Remembrance Tree, gets under way this Friday, December 9 at O’Connell Street and Dunnes Stores, Davis Road.

It continues on Saturday and Sunday, December 10 and 11, and again from Friday to Wednesday, December 16 to 21.

Funds from the event go to South Tipperary Hospice’s home care nursing service, and the organisers are confident of the usual generous response from the people of Clonmel and surrounding area for such a worthy cause.

People can remember their loved ones by placing a ribbon on the tree while making a contribution to Hospice.
