Slievenamon Golf Club greenkeeper Paul Kenny got some great news last week

Great honour for Paul Kenny and Slievenamon Golf Club

On Friday last the great news came through that Slievenamon Golf Club's Paul Kenny had been chosen as one of only two Greenkeepers in Ireland to represent the Association of Turfgrass Professionals Ireland (ATPI) as part of their joint scholarship programme with the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSSAA).

As part of his scholarship, Paul will have an all expenses paid trip to Orlando, Florida, in February 2023 to attend the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show and while there will participate in education programmes, network with the top professionals in the field and participate in the GCSAA Golf Championships.

Slievenamon Golf Club are beyond excited for Paul with the award and proud as punch that he will be representing Slievenamon Golf Club at this international forum. It was almost enough to make them all forget about the cold out at the Clonacody course over the weekend.
