Irish woman missing in Berlin found safe

A YOUNG Irish woman who went missing in Berlin has been found safe.

Una Joyce, from Gortahork, Co Donegal, was reported missing in the German capital on last Saturday, but has been located in hospital this Tuesday morning.

She is understood to have boarded a bus at Reuchlin Strasse station in Berlin on Saturday October 28 to travel towards Hasenheide and had texted a friend to say she was on the way but did not arrive.

Members of her family travelled to Berlin as concerns for her safety grew.

A family friend confirmed on social media that Una had been found in a hospital outside of Berlin and "is with her family".
