Man and woman arrested after 16-month investigation into Dublin city murder

A man in his 40s and woman in her 40s, were arrested by gardaí earlier this Wednesday morning

Man and woman arrested in connection with Dublin city murder

Gardaí have arrested two people as part of their investigation into the murder of Anthony Dempsey. 

Anthony's body was discovered at a flat in Kevin Barry House, Coleraine Street, Dublin 7, on Monday, September 12, 2022.

A man in his 40s and woman in her 40s, were arrested by gardaí earlier this Wednesday morning, January 24, 2024.

They are both currently detained at garda stations in the Dublin Metropolitan Region.

Investigations are ongoing.

Gardaí are continuing to appeal for anyone with any information in relation to this matter to contact Bridewell garda station on 01 666 8200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
