Busy M6 motorway reopens after crash left little girl (6) injured in Westmeath

The M6 has now fully reopened after being closed following a crash.

The busy road was closed between junctions 3 and 4 eastbound, following the collision as a technical examination of the scene is being conducted.

A six-year-old girl, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was rushed to Children's Health Ireland at Temple Street with serious injuries.

No other serious injuries were reported.
