Gardaí arrest man in connection with seizure of drugs worth estimated €120,000
On Monday 4 November, Revenue officers seized approximately 6kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €120,000 in Newcastle, County Galway.
The drugs were seized as part of an intelligence-led operation jointly conducted by Revenue's Customs Service, Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and Galway Divisional Drugs Unit.
Gardaí arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the seizure.

The man is currently being detained at Galway Regional and Divisional Headquarters under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
An Garda Síochána say that investigations are ongoing.
