Gardaí are appealing for information after a hit and run' incident in Kilkenny
Gardaí in Kilkenny are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit and run incident this Valentines weekend.
They are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the collision that occurred at Dublin Road, Kilkenny at approximately 10.30pm on Saturday.
According to gardai, a male pedestrian, aged in his 30s, was seriously injured when he was struck by a vehicle that failed to remain at the scene.

Having received medical attention at the scene, the man was later removed to St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny where he remains in a serious condition.
Investigations are ongoing and any witnesses or anyone with video footage, including dash-cam, is asked to make it available to gardai.
