RIP: Gardaí stand down search for missing Galway man amid tragic update

Gardaí would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance following the discovery

Following the discovery of a man’s body, the missing person appeal for Martin Ward has now been stood down. 

The 48-year-old was reported missing from Tuam, Co Galway since Monday, October 6. 

When last seen, he was wearing light green tracksuit bottoms, a dark green sweatshirt, a black sleeveless body warmer top and black runners.

Martin’s family and Gardaí were concerned for his wellbeing.

Gardaí would now like to thank the media and the public for their assistance following the discovery.
