Rate collection in North Tipperary is up by 6% so far this year, according to County Manager Mr Joe MacGrath.

Speaking at the monthly meeting of the local authority this week, the Manager, in answering a query from Cllr John Hogan, said that the council had engaged with a number of rate customers who were not paying their rates, and had made agreenments with them- collection was not at 39% - 6% more than last year.
