Acorn Life, one of Ireland’s leading financial services providers, has announced it is to create 10 jobs in Tipperary as part of a major expansion nationwide.
The group’s business development plans for 2015 which will see approximately 125 new employment opportunities filled nationwide. In 2014, Acorn Life Group created approximately 75 jobs and recruitment to fill a further 125 roles has already begun. The roles span from IT to Financial Advisory to Marketing professionals and more.
Speaking of the Acorn Life’s 2015 plans Eamonn Kelly, agency development manager in Tipperary, said: “Last year was a very successful one for Acorn Life – with business levels up 50 per cent. In addition, the group’s new Galway-based general insurance operation, Acorn Insurance, which we launched in 2013, has seen significant growth in terms of business volumes and consequentially staff numbers have also grown significantly. In the last six months alone we have opened new offices in Sligo and Leopardstown Business Park in Dublin and we are currently recruiting financial advice, admin, actuarial and IT professionals. There are approximately 10 positions to be filled by candidates in the Tipperary area.”

The roles include: personal financial advisors, sales advisors for car and home insurance, mortgage advisors, trainee actuary, SQL programmer, commercial insurance development manager, agency development manager, marketing manager and marketing intern, recruitment consultants and customer care advisors for car and home insurance.
