The National Operation Transformation got off to a flying start last week and a big crowd turned up at Duneske in Cahir to put their names down to take part in this year’s event.
There are several ways to take part and help is given to all participants over an eight week time frame with weigh recording, Meet & Train Group, gym classes, diet advice and as well as advice from trained Fitness Instructors.
It is a great way to get fit and lose weight all in the company of likeminded people who support you in every way.
Operation Transformation started with the National Operation Transformation Family Walk which took place last Saturday, January 9, and it culminates in the National Operation Transformation 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, February 20, at 11am.
Just to remind all participants, there is no charge for meeting up with the Meet & Train Group on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm and those who have registered with the group can use the gym in Duneske Sport & Leisure Centre during the eight weeks for only €2 a session.
In fact, all classes have been reduced in Duneske during Operation Transformation and weight recording, classes etc are done through reception, so there certainly is a lot of incentive to take part.
