Rehearsals continue in Scoil Ailbhe CBS Primary School this Saturday at 1:00pm for Phoenix Productions forthcoming auditions for the magical musical Peter Pan, which will be staged in the Premier Hall from August 3rd -6th.
A great turnout of 57 attended last weekend's rehearsals and with the auditions set for the weekend of the 21/22nd May, anyone interested in becoming part of what will be an amazing journey, should jump on board right now.
Producer Gerard O'Brien is inviting all 14-22 year olds interested to come along - there are loads of parts, male and female, in this very ensemble-driven show and there will be great work for the chorus to sink their teeth into and to enjoy.
Director for the show will be the renowned Eoin Cannon, while David Wrey will return as Musical Director and Debbie Kiernan, who has choreographed for Thurles Musical Society over the last number of years, will be the choreographer.
Technically, this will be a very challenging show and Gerard is promising that “Peter will fly” in this production which is sure to excite audiences and participants alike.
Phoenix has been bringing top class youth musical theatre to the stage for many years and has never been afraid to push the boundaries in terms of challenging the entire company - Peter Pan will be no different in this regard, but they are well up for it.
“It's going to be brilliant and we are thrilled to have gotten the rights for it. We're very excited about it,” Gerard said this week.
