Popular Nenagh fishing spot is targetted by car thieves

A car was stolen from the car park at the popular fishing spot and Sli Eala walk at Ballyartella last week,

The Gardai in Nenagh are appealing to the public for any information in relation to the taking of the grey 152 registered Toyota Auris estate at around 3.20pm last Friday.

In a separate incident, a woman had her handbag stolen on Saturday night / Sunday morning outside Nenagh Credit Union offices on Kickham Street at around 3.20am.

The Gardaí have viewed CCTV footage of the area and are understood to have observed a male taking the handbag. They are following a line of enquiry into the incident but are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Meanwhile, a woman reported the theft of her mobile phone from a restaurant in Nenagh last Friday night. The incident happened in a Kenyon Street restaurant at around 11pm.
