Tipperary Fire and Rescue Service responded to a total of 24 bonfires throughout the county on Halloween night.
According to chief fire officer Dave Carroll there were no incidents at the bonfires and fire crews were able to carry out their duties.
The highest number of bonfires dealt with was in Tipperary Town where the fire service responded to six incidents.
There were four bonfires each in Clonmel and Carrick-on-Suir, with three each in Nenagh and Templemore.
Thurles and Cashel each had two callouts.
However, three Garda patrol cars were called to the village of Puckaun outside Nenagh amid reports that a large number of youths were stuffing fireworks in people's letter boxes. A quantity of fireworks was seized and the Gardai are conducting a series of follow-up operations.
