Sport is back!

Finally after weeks of lockdown sport is back with a bang throughout Tipperary and this weekend hurling has resumed the length and breadth of the Premier County. It’s what we love best in the Home of Hurling.

You can catch up on all the games from the weekend in The Nationalist on sale every Wednesday where we carry even more in depth account of the all the games featuring teams from all the divisions

Read about how county champions Borris-Ileigh were held by Toomevara, while Templemore side JK Brackens and Kildangan also drew.

There were wins also for South Tipperary sides Mullinahone, Killenaule and St Mary’s, as elsewhere in the huge number of games in county games this weekend Loughmore/Castleiney defeated Moycarkey/Borris and Thurles Sarsfields laid down a marker with a bitzing of Kilruane MacDonaghs.

And of course next weekend we are back to a full programme of senior and intermediate football games. Yes sport is back, bigger than ever.

Catch up on it all on Wednesday in The Nationalist.
