It was with much regret that we learned of the sudden death of Mick McGrath, Killeenyarda.
Mick was of a kind and generous nature and always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need of assistance. He had a great interest in sport having hurled for Holycross and was an All Ireland Champion Handballer. He could turn his hand to any job and had a special interest in carpentry putting great faith into the saying ‘measure twice cut once’. He will be greatly missed by his wife Josephine, sons Stephen and Liam, daughters Tricia and Joanne, grandchildren Aoife, Hanna Cian, Tadhg, Zoe, Clodagh, Millie, Michael and Niamh, brother Paddy, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, extended family, neighbours and many good friends. Listening to people speak about Mick in the days following his passing the most frequently voiced words were ‘he was a True Gent’. Peace to his kindly soul.
