The annual Holly Walk organised by Mid Tipp Hill Walkers will take place this year on Sunday, December 9.
This is a gentle hill-walk for everybody (though not suitable for buggies) and is always a most sociable and enjoyable event.
The walk lasts two to three hours with a seasonal picnic provided at the half-way point. As usual, the walk will be led by John G O’Dwyer.
The Holly Walk is one of the social events during the year when Mid Tipp Hill Walkers invite everyone to come along and join us and enjoy a festive walk in the woods and hills of Co Tipperary. So, come along on Sunday 9th at 11am – we leave from opposite the fire station in Cashel at 11am.
Meanwhile, this coming Sunday, December 2, a moderate level and a high level walk will leave from Cashel. New walkers welcome to come along – just bring good shoes or boots, warm clothes and raingear and a packed lunch. Also, a change of clothes and footwear for after the walk is a good idea. For further details about any of the walks, check out our website at www.midtipphillwalkers.ie or call Dan Condren at 0872273082.
