The A.G.M took place of County Tipperary Darts on September 4 in the Hill Bar, and was very well attended.

At the start of the meeting a minute’s silence was held as a mark of respect for the Morrissey, Ivors, Teehan and Peters families who lost loved ones during the past year, all these families have been great supporters of Tipperary Darts through the years and these people will be sadly missed.

Cahirperson Mick O’Connell welcomed everyone and congratulated all those who won leagues and tournaments during the past year, thanked all teams who wore the county shirts for their efforts and it was agreed by all that with a bit of luck major honours were not far away for one of our county teams. He also thanked managers of these teams for the effort and time which they put in.

Secretary Martin Sheehan gave a detailed account of all league and cup winners, he also listed the winners of the masters competitions. He then informed the meeting of how our County teams progressed during the past 12 months and what success they had.

Treasaurer Mick Smith said that while we had a fairly successful year, money for all competitions - events and County teams were a major drain on the finances of the County board, and he urged all teams to support the different fund raisers which would take place over the coming months. He thanked all sponsors for their continued support as without them it would be impossible to continue.
