Steven Mackin, our AAI Regional Development Officer is currently preparing the Calendar of Events for 2011. If any Club has any demand for any of the following please let him know:
Jumps workshop, Throws workshop, Sprints/Hurdles workshop, Road Running/Endurance workshop, Strength & Conditioning workshop, Athletics Leader course, Assistant Coach Course
There have been two Level 1 courses ran in last few weeks in Munster and there is one in Ennis, Co. Clare in January so no more Level 1s will be run until September 2011. Also due to the fact the Level 2 course planned for September here was cancelled due to lack of numbers there will be none in Munster until September 2011. There will however be a big Level 2course put on in Tullamore or Athlonein Feb/Mar time. If coaches are interested in doing these courses they will have to travel at times.
