Kevin Moore leads the club to first county senior road since 2007
Kevin Moore had an exceptional run to win the county senior in Two Mile Borris completing the course in time of 33:54. Kevin has now added the county senior to his county intermediate title that he won earlier in the month.
James Ryan had a great performance finishing in 5th position with a time of 35:58. Michael Ryan and Willie O’Dwyer completed the team finishing in 6th and 19th positions. The team combined to win the gold medals in the team category. Ruaidhri Devitt, Michael Ryan and Michael Coen finished in 30th, 32nd and 36th positions with times of 39:51, 40:19 and 41:18. The three won the bronze medals in the B category.
Dymphna Ryan was the first lady to finish for the club winning the bronze medal in a time of 18:55 over the 5K course. Claire Devitt and Mary Keane completed the team finishing in 8th and 16th positions with times of 20:59 and 23:10. The three girls won the bronze medals in the team category. Patricia Ryan was 18th in a time of 23:51.
Club circuits will continue on Wednesday nights at 7pm and the county masters road will take place in Coolquill next Saturday at 7pm.
